Haulotte Aerial Work Platforms Missouri

Haulotte Aerial Work Platforms Missouri

The business Pinguely-Haulotte was just named the Haulotte Group in the year 2005. The change in name was the first time within 124 years the name has not included Pinguely. The Haulotte Group is popular for making telescopic work platforms, articulated work platforms, trailer mounted work platforms, vertical mast-work platforms and scissor lifts.

The Haulotte Group obtained Bil-Jax, Inc. on July 24th, the year 2008. Bil-Jax is the biggest scaffold manufacturer in the US. At present, Haulotte Group has one plant in Spain, three plants in France, one in Romania, near Pitesti City. There is a new factory that opened in the winter of the year 2008. This factory is only 1 km away from the existing plant near the city of Pitesti within Arges County. The factory is called Arges II. There are also two plants within the USA, the former Bill-Jax.

Pinguely
The company was established during the year 1881 within Lyon, France by Alexandre Pinguely. The company initially constructed steam engines. The business evolved into making machines eventually. During the year 1892, they provided a steam engine to the Chemin de Fer de St Victor a Thizy.

Pinguely supplied 7 locomotives to the Voiron-Saint-Beron railway. When it comes to numbers produced, Pinguely was not a main steam engine manufacturer. The company supplied a steam train to the Chemin de Fer du Haut-Rhone in the year 1930 and by the year 1932, Pinguely started making steam shovels. Steam locomotive production was stopped and the company started focusing instead on mobile cranes and making earthmoving equipment instead.

Haulotte
Arthur Hualotte established the beginnings of Haulotte in 1924, when it was referred to as Ateliers de Construction A. Haulotte. This business specialized in manufacturing aerial platforms, mobile cranes and derricks.

Pinguely-Haulotte
Manufacturing it was decided to be sub-contracted to Pinguely-Haulotte, who was to be responsible for the engineering and marketing, research, design and development. All products were abandoned by Saubot so that the company could focus on self-propelled aerial work platforms.
