Genie Zoom Boom Missouri

Genie Zoom Boom Missouri

In 1966, Bud Bushnell established Genie Industries. At that time, he purchased the manufacturing rights to a material lift which operated on compressed air. The name Genie originated from the "magic in the bottle" that was utilized to lower and raise the hoist. This mechanism really impressed clients and therefore, the name was established.

Genie expanded operations and established itself into different new markets, since the demand for work lifts and platforms grew. Over time, as the requirements for new equipment to meet numerous applications grew, the company made itself known in numerous new markets. Like for instance, Genie went into production with articulated booms, light towers, man-lifts, stick booms and telehandlers.

Genie decided to acquire a partner who held the same values as a result of the economic slump in the beginning of the 2000s, when they partnered together with Terex. This company has a history obtaining machine manufacturers all around the world who proved to be a good business match. Genie Industries was sold during 2002 and became a part of Terex Corporation.

During the initial years after the sale, it was decided to maintain the Genie brand name within the Terex Aerial Work Platforms or AWP segment of Terex, due to the name's solid reputation in the marketplace. Therefore, all Genie equipment continue to be sold under the Genie brand.

The company takes great pride in taking advice from and listening to their clients. Genie has always been continually devoted to improving the quality and efficiency in addition to minimizing wastes. Even long after the sale has been closed, the company concentrates on offering exceptional support. These are the very work disciplines which have made Genie a trusted brand name over the last decades and continue to keep their reputation for quality and top-of-the-line equipment.

Genie's DC and Bi-Energy machines are emission-free, quiet equipment capable of working in delicate work environments. Where the machinery should be driven significant distances, such as within industrial situations, the Genie bi-energy system combines the power of a diesel-powered generator along with the benefits of a 48V DC machinery.

As opposed to any of the different types of aerial platforms, telescopic booms offer more horizontal reach overall. These machines are ideal for limited access places in construction and other industrial settings. The Genie Telescopic S booms have been designed to offer utmost productivity. These machinery provide the drive speed and supreme traction you require to be able to travel around the work site and job area.
