Narrow aisle forklifts function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations which meet a range of operations as well as the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the load and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are usually wire or rail guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
