Taylor Big Forklifts
The TX4 Series of forklifts by Taylor are specific 4WD vehicles designed for only one task. This task is to transport material in the harshest environments. Some of the terrain these equipment work in consists of: snow, mud or uneven and rough environments. The TX4 delivers supreme performance and has become the leading alternative for many businesses.
Different than other comparable articulated lift truck units, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler specially and completely engineered and manufactured by Taylor Machine Works.
Offered these days, there are 3 different load capacities. The TX4 unit is an articulated 4-wheel drive lift truck built to out-perform the front-end loader forklifts. Normally, so as to achieve the same capacity from a forklift or front-end loader, the lift truck or front-end loader should be bigger than the 132 inch wheelbase that comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD forklifts are true rough terrain lift trucks. They were engineered to have no deration in full turns. Additionally, this specific unit is obtainable direct from the factory with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Some of the most powerful, very durable and really maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain forklifts offered today in the wood products industry are the Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain lift trucks. The only manufacturer within the United States who builds and designs rough terrain lift trucks with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Therefore, they have become the leader within this particular field in North America and have earned a solid reputation within this niche.
Each unit within the TXB Series line of forklifts utilizes a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge air to air or after-cooled diesel engine. Several of the standard engine features comprise electronic diagnostic maintenance and engine/transmission protection systems, improved fuel economy, water/fuel separator and reduced overall emissions.
The transmission utilized for the TXB Series consists of a 3-speed, fully reversing, modulated powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, inching ability and electric roll shift control.
Taylor has manufactured many machinery to deal with the harshest environments. These machinery have the capability to work at their optimum levels within several of the most difficult applications. They are strong and reliable and built to last and get the job done in a timely and effective manner.
