Genie Electric Scissor Lifts
For optimal suitability in industrial work locations, Genie DC equipment can be the best choice. When low noise and zero-emissions are needed, these equipment could be a great choice. Genie bi-energy, hybrid systems are available for applications where the equipment should drive long-distances. These models combine the best of both worlds, utilizing the positives of a 48V DC equipment and the flexibility of diesel-powered generators.
Genie DC models have systems on-board to charge the battery and offer the operator with long battery life between charges. When being charged between shifts or overnight, there is a 30 amp universal smart charger system which would automatically convert to the AC voltage frequency and input. In order to save unnecessary power usage that would cost your business this charging system will shut down automatically when the battery pack has reached full charge. Genie DC models offer proportional lift and drive controls that help the operator to use smooth and accurate movements and regulate the speed of each and every function. This ensures accurate positioning with each and every lift. On non-jib units, the self-levelling platform rotates to 90 degrees in either direction. For jib units, the jib can rotate 80 degrees in either direction as well as 135 five degrees to 139 degrees vertically, which depends on the unit used. Working heights vary from 12.52 meters to 15.94 meters, which depends on the unit. Genie DC lifts are stable when rotating the turntable in confined areas. Because of lack of tailswing, lift repositioning while the turntable is rotating is not necessary. Over and up reach on these machines is great for working in small spaces and the compact unit size is perfect for when lighter weight equipment are required.
Genie units are quite quick and easy to maneuver with a smooth ride on its pneumatic tires and no tailswing to produce long-lasting performance on tough jobs. Non-marking foam- and air-filled tires help to increase the benefits in industrial settings.
